VOP Dolní Bousov, spol. s.r.o. was established in 1996 as a successor to the former Military Repair Enterprise (Vojenský opravárenský podnik), which ended its business in the same year. Following up the long tradition, the company has been drawing on experience gained during the previous manufacturing and servicing activities for the Czech Army, Ministry of the Interior and bodies of the Integrated Rescues System. The company augmented its range of activities with two additional manufacturing programmes: metalworking and flood protection.
